What does an Account Aggregator mean?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>An Account Aggregator is a Consent Manager for Financial Data: a new class of NBFC approved by RBI to manage consent for financial data sharing.<\/p>\n<p>It was created through an inter-regulatory decision by Reserve Bank of India (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rbi.org.in\/\">RBI<\/a>), Securities and Exchange Board of India (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sebi.gov.in\/\">SEBI<\/a>), Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.irdai.gov.in\/\">IRDAI<\/a>), Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pfrda.org.in\/\">PFRDA<\/a>) through Financial Stability and Development Council (FSDC).
